Reviews
Good to know
How difficult are the Gobi drives?
Expect long travel days on paved and gravel roads. The standard and premium packages use smaller groups and more flexible stops. Comfortable clothing helps.
Are ger camp bathrooms private?
Budget camps usually use shared facilities. Standard and premium packages use upgraded camps when available, but remote camps can still be simple.
Can vegetarians join?
Yes. Tell us in advance and we coordinate vegetarian meals with the camps. Vegan options are limited in remote areas.
What happens in bad weather?
The Gobi route runs in most weather. If a safety issue blocks a section, the guide reroutes to the closest equivalent stop.
Is travel insurance required?
Strongly recommended. The route is remote and medical evacuation can be expensive.
